Why Resin Floors
Seamless & Waterproof Surface
Our epoxy floors cure into one continuous surface with no joints, no grout lines and nowhere for water to seep through. Spills, mopping and washdowns are handled easily — ideal for bathrooms, kitchens, commercial kitchens and wash areas.
Before installation we assess the slab for rising moisture. Where moisture is present we specify a moisture-tolerant primer or barrier system so the floor performs long term. This assessment is part of every free site inspection.

How It Is Built
A Floor Is Layers, Not Paint
What makes a resin floor last is not the colour on top — it is what sits underneath it. A typical decorative build-up runs from the prepared slab up to the protective topcoat, and each layer does a specific job.
Surface preparation is the single biggest factor in whether a floor succeeds or fails. We mechanically grind every slab; we do not coat over dust, laitance or a floor that has not been tested.
Thickness is chosen, not fixed. Thin coatings suit light traffic; self-levelling slurries and heavy-duty screeds are specified where loads, impact or chemicals demand more material. We recommend the build-up after seeing your slab.

Skipping preparation is how resin floors fail. This is the sequence we follow on every project, residential or industrial.
Site inspection
We measure the area, look at the existing floor and discuss how the space is used.
Slab & moisture assessment
We check the substrate for rising moisture and specify a moisture-tolerant primer where it is needed.
Mechanical preparation
Diamond grinding opens the surface so the resin can bond. No coating goes over dust or laitance.
Crack & joint repair
Cracks are cut, filled and consolidated. Most resin floor cracking starts in the concrete below.
Primer
A penetrating primer seals the slab and creates the bond the rest of the system relies on.
Body coat & design layer
The bulk of the thickness goes down, then the 3D image, metallic pigment or marble veining.
Clear build & topcoat
Clear resin creates depth, then the protective topcoat sets abrasion, chemical and UV performance.
Cure, inspect, hand over
The floor cures to a return-to-service time we confirm for your system, then we walk it with you and hand over the written warranty.

A single room is typically 3–5 days including preparation, coats and curing. Larger commercial and industrial floors are phased so parts of your site stay in use. Return-to-service time is system-specific and we confirm it in your quotation.

Often yes. Tiles must be sound, well bonded and mechanically prepared first, and hollow or drummy tiles have to be removed. We confirm what is possible during the inspection rather than promising it in advance.
